Tampa Sheet Metal Company was founded in 1920 by John Jiretz, Senior. John was a skilled craftsman who had learned his trade in Austria and Germany. The business has progressed from the early days of hand held tools and very little equipment into the modern high tech facility it is today. The company is still owned and operated by the Jiretz family and is currently managed by John L. Jiretz, President, grandson of the found, and a certified sheet metal contractor.

We are proud to continue following the standards of quality established in the early days of the company, thus assuring a high grade custom sheet metal product goes out to all of our customers. We specialize in sheet metal bending, laser cutting, precision CNC punching, and metal designing to produce quality metal parts. We have produced sheet metal products for the food and citrus processing industries among many others. Our products are a step above other sheet metal shops in the area.

We can perform robotic welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Also spot welding, MIG welding, TIG welding, grinding, and polishing. Our CNC turret punch press can punch 6.000 diameter holes to exact precision. Our metal cutting shears cut steel up to .250 thickness. We have press brakes, laser cutters, and a sophisticated computer system runs it all.
